Insight into Croisieres de France

Croisieres De France

Pullmantur provide cruise holidays with a real Spanish flair, taking passengers to a range of destinations around the Mediterranean and around the Caribbean. Owned by Royal Caribbean Cruise Ltd, this unique cruise line provides amazing value for money with a range of all-inclusive cruises to suit all tastes and desires.

What many people don’t know, however, is that two of the five ships in Pullmantur’s fleet offer a different experience. Both Horizon and Zenith operate under Croisieres de France – a sister company to Pullmantur which provides the same all-inclusive (or tout inclus) value but with a taste of France on board.

History

Croisieres de France was founded in 2007 as a subsidiary of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd and started operating cruises in May 2008 with flagship: Bleu de France. This ship operated cruises around the Mediterranean in the summer, sailing out of Marseille, and around the Caribbean in the winter, sailing out of La Romana in Dominican Republic. Bleu de France was later sold and Croisieres de France acquired Horizon from Pullmantur (previously Pacific Dream) and Zenith from Celebrity Cruises.

Today

Pullmantur’s sister operator provide the same all-inclusiveness with drinks, food, flights, gratuities, kid’s clubs, taxes, transfers and port charges all included in the price of the cruise. The friendly crew members on board Croisieres de France ships will be happy to assist, able to converse in English, French and Spanish. Horizon was refurbished in 2012, whilst Zenith was refurbished in 2013 and both provide a French flair that you will fall in love with on board. Today, Croisiere de France operates seasonal cruises around the Mediterranean and Caribbean.

What to Expect

Croisieres De France

Croisieres de France offers everything you love and expect from Pullmantur including great service, all-inclusiveness and wonderful itineraries. You may see a few additional French elements on board to give your cruise something truly unique. Perhaps one of the most striking features you may notice is the appearance of Miss France, who will appear on board selected Croisieres De France sailings around the Caribbean from 2016.

You can rest assured, however, that you will feel perfectly at home with any cruise itinerary on board Horizon or Zenith. Crew members are multi-lingual and speaker announcements are all made in English, French and Spanish. Everything you love about Pullmantur cruises, you can expect to see with Croisieres de France. As is the case with Pullmantur, all-inclusive comes as standard but if you want more, there are additional options available which offer an extra sense of luxury.
